Does anybody hav any secrets or something on how to get ur fitteds extra clean. I remember a while back their was some kind of kit on the internet that had this helmet looking thing that shaped your hats back into brand new form. It was a kit that came with a bunch of cool sh*t like cleaners and stuff. I dunno I'ma look for it some more if I find it I'll post it here. But until then how do y'all clean your fitteds?

i use the cleaner/de-oderizer spray they sell at lids.

-spray the hat down good with the cleaner
-let it soak for 15-20 mins
-take a wet warm towel and scrub

it cleans the hat pretty good.

One time I used a tiny, tiny, TINY bit of liquid laundry soap mixed with a little water. I dipped a towel in it and lightly scrubed the hat until it got damp. then I let it sit for about 10 mins then i took a clean damp towel(no soap) then scrubed the hat some more until its clean looking and no soap residue or suds left.

It worked pretty good but the Lids hat cleaner spray works better.

i know a lot of stores sell a kit that comes with a metal thing that u insert the hat into it, and u can put it in the diswasher, the metal thing keeps the hat in its normal shape, not sure what its called but ill surf around a bit and try to find it

sh*t before the Lids spray cleaner I used to use a toothbrush and a little lukewarm water and a little bit of baking soda
then I would take card board fit in the hat to keep it's foundation and let it dry flat on the table

Worked for me

Yeah I've had a couple shrink just from sweat. Water shrinks the wool. I've had 7 1/2's turn into like 7 1/8ths. They went from being big, to actually being fitted.

YOu should just buy a new hat. You can wear that sh*t in the summer when ur playing baseball or sumthing, u dont have to throw em away. if the hat shrinks you can make it big again. Heres How...
1) Take the hat and have the bill face you and put the back of the hat on your knee.
2) Pull the hat a couple of times, you should hear a popping noise, that is normal.
3) Bend the hat back into the shape you want, repeat to get the size that you want.

By the way lids sells this awesome fitted water repelant for like 15$, if you spray it on your hat, you can wear it in the rain and the water will just bead off, copp that if you want your hats to last longer
