This isn't new and some of yall may have seen this one before but we got a lot of new peeps and i want some crits on this...my fam too...blue, savant, aplus, playboy....
they say
hindsight
is 20/20
and today
this very moment
i accept
his presence
his light
his space
i traveled roads
and
i had angels
watching over me
i saw god in my rearview mirror
i looked back
i saw signs
but was blind
to their message
thinking
their messages
were blind
to me
i maintain
god is in
everyone
everywhere
every minute of
every hour of
every day
i saw god
in those i love
in their eyes
and souls
i saw god
in those i despise
through their
darkness
was the light
and i saw god
in the mirror
staring at me
with my own eyes
i even saw god
in you
grace sometimes
hurts
unknowingly
unwittingly
for his lessons
are painful
as are they also
beautiful
we need not have
rose-colored glasses
to see
the truth
though i strongly oppose
man-made
religion
and though i oppose
its principles
so-called moral standards
holier-NOT-than-thou
fakin the funk religions
those who told me
...and i quote...
"...dont bother praying...
unless u are saved;
god will not
hear
your prayers..."
though i am in
strict
opposition
i offer my support
to the truth
to the light
and the love
and the everlasting
i believe in god
and god believes in me
