goes beyond all concepts of
vast comprehension
it lies deeper than anything
thought planned or imagined
it knows no age barrier
or maturity level
it is pure truth
in it's rarest of forms
it's tongue speaks many languages
and it's voice resonates in many tones
it reaches minds
where other attempts may have failed
it can both lift and dampen
your spirit heart and soul
it can be that thing that saves your life
or that thing that pushes you over the edge
ahh the depth of real writing
can be so concrete
can be so unique
put it in a song
and put the cd on repeat
listen attentively
nodding your head to
the beat of the words whose
meaning can be so profound
that can turn your life around
and upside down
real writing
with real meaning
so real seeming
as if it was penned just for you
because it always seems to relate to
everything in your life
all the drama
then the good times
sometimes it can make you realize
that your trials aren't so bad
and so you move on
forward progression
because of real writing
