I dont consider myself a poet
More like a unleashed mind who has
finally found a way to express his views in word
Although my impression of what's written
far exceeds my expectations
It would be a spit in the face of the real poets who put thier lives on paper
Who cry through ink and lead releasing thier fears, pains, and tensions to the world
So in that way I dont feel Im a poet
But who is to say what a true poet is?
Can a person deem themselves a artist if they are not artistically talented?
Can a teacher deem himself one if he has never reached a mind through knowledge?
The answer......it all depends on the role of that particular person
and get dont me wrong I know One who deems themselves something that they are not only lead themselves down a path of bullsh*t and false ambigious belief ultimately setting themselves up for failure.
But its often from the failure that they learn the truth about themselves....and learn to incorporate thier fears of masked emotions into sentences that may be spoken in or externally.....and that in itsself is poetry
So in that way we are all poets...whether the words we spill are filled with poetic chaos or ignorant banting the words we speak are still true from heart...so when I say I dont consider myself a poet its not because I want to appear greater then Im am, or because my own arrogance has lead me to some egotistical mind fu*k...its simply because what I write is what I feel...but what I feel is not always what I write.......
