Purchasing A Phone From Ebay. . . Help

yo if i was to purchase a phone from ebay would i be able to take it to tmobile and get a plan or do i have to get the phone from the tmobile store?

depends if the fone is either unlocked...and/or it is compatible wit t-mobile...look at t-mobile.com an see if the fone is being sdold by them...

what type of phone is it.. you have to make sure that the carrier does that type of nework that the phone was made for... If you have a cdma phone (sprint phone) it wont work on a T-mobile network.. But it have a Cingular phone (Gsm) it can work on a T-mobile (GSM) network..

why would you get in trouble for it? its unlocked which means it can be used on any GSM service (tmobile, att, cingular etc). besides, for those type of carriers, you dont get service for the phone, you get a Sim card. when you want a new phone, just make sure you get an unlocked GSM phone and pop your sim card in, youre good to go.

if your getting a phone thats unlocked off e-bay and wanna get a plan..what id do is think of another phone you want thats free with a 1 year contract and then just use that sim card for both phones and you'll have two..but if you just wanna go month to month like t-styles said you dont gotta worry bout getting in trouble...
